ROBBERY SENTENCE - The roles the two defendants who appeared before Common Pleas Court Judge David Bortner Wednesday played in an armed robbery in Kennett Square may have been essentially the same, but the sentences they received for their guilty pleas were anything but. Nathan Robert Parker, who held two men at gunpoint while his accomplices robbed them of iPods and computer games, was sentenced to nine to 18 years in state prison as part of a plea agreement with the prosecution. A man with an extensive criminal record, Parker escaped two mandatory five-to-10 year prison sentences in exchange for his decision to plead guilty in the case.
