Stantec vice president Joseph Viscuso was named the chairman of the Government Relations Committee for the International Council of Shopping Centers' Pennsylvania/Delaware region.
In the volunteer role, Viscuso will represent the interests of owners, developers, investors, marketers and other retail specialists across those states.
Based in Stantec's West Chester office, Viscuso leads the company's commercial real estate site development services, including clients such as Wawa, McDonalds, and Walgreens, as well as dozens of cities and towns.
In his 35-year career, Viscuso has become an authority on real estate development issues, authoring numerous articles and white papers and serving as an adjunct professor for Widener University.
Patrick S. Mintzer, an attorney with the West Chester law firm of Buckley, Brion, McGuire, Morris & Sommer LLP, was elected president of the board of directors for the Cerebral Palsy Association of Chester County.
Mintzer is also a trustee for Valley Forge Educational Services, which assists children with learning challenges.
The Cerebral Palsy Association is a non-profit agency located in Chester County.
The organization is also known as Chester County Disability Services because its services extend beyond individuals with Cerebral Palsy to include people with a variety of physical disabilities, such as spinal cord injuries and Multiple Sclerosis.
